MSG(RET) Sandra Brownlee Bio:

Sandra Brownlee, BSHA – Master Sergeant (retired) United States Army.  Serving as CEO of the non-profit organization Discovering Soldiers Potential II (DSPII), the creator of Waypoint Griffin “A Sanctuary for Veterans” Sandra Brownlee was born and raised in LaGrange, Georgia. For 27 years, she served in the U.S. Army Medical Department (AMEDD). In addition to training, teaching, and mentoring hundreds of officers, noncommissioned officers, soldiers, and civilians, she spearheaded numerous advances in leadership, management, and clinical practices throughout the AMEDD. MSG Brownlee’s military and civilian educational background includes numerous military leadership schools such as, Air Assault School, Airborne School, Expert Field Medical Badge Course Flight Medical Aid Man Course, Medical NCO Course (91B30), Instructor Course, Inspector General’s Course, and the Master Fitness Course. She also earned a Bachelors’ degree in Personnel Management and her Masters in Healthcare Administration. Over the course of her career she received several medal awards. Awards received include: National Defense Service Ribbon – NDSM, Army Good Conduct Ribbon, Army Commendation Ribbon, Army Achievement Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Armed Forces Expeditionary Ribbon, Meritorious Service Ribbon, Army Overseas Service Ribbon, Army Presidential Unit Citation Ribbon, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Ribbon, Army Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, Southwest Asia Service Ribbon, Armed Forces Service Ribbon, Joint Service Commendation Ribbon, Legion of Merit Ribbon, NATO Bosnia Ribbon and the United Nations Ribbon. She is an honored member of the Army organization   the Order of Military Medical Merit (O2M3).
