My name is Rolande S. Sumner and I am a retired US Army veteran and the CEO & Founder of Life After Service Transitional Coaching LLC®. I enlisted in the US Army National Guard in 1995 and retired in 2015. During my career I was a Admin Clerk, Heavy Vehicle Operator and Human Resources Generalist/Manager. I served as both a traditional National Guard Soldier and in an Active Guard/Reserve capacity and have been stationed in Massachusetts, South Carolina and Afghanistan.

My passion is empowering and inspiring women veteran to live full and authentic lives. My mission is to dramatically empower veterans to claim their autonomy, independence and personal accountability through individualized mentorship, coaching and training via the military transition to entrepreneurial process. My vision is to dramatically improve the military transition result within the veteran community on the micro, mezzo, and macro levels. The result will be a dramatic reduction in unemployment and homelessness, and an increase in the statistical economic outcome of veteran families.

My values are focused on LASTCo.

L – Leadership : Provide guidance and support with integrity.

A – Autonomy: Assist women veterans in claiming control over their lives with confidence and bravery.

S – Security : Inform women veterans financial stability is their birthright.

T – Teamwork: Be an example of genuine collaboration and community effort for the greater good.

With her guidance, I have begun the process of sorting out my dilemma and taking immediate steps toward my desired direction.
